A 19-year-old man from Grande Prairie is facing multiple charges after an international tip led RCMP to a disturbing online child exploitation case.In April 2025, Grande Prairie RCMP’s General Investigation Section (GIS) received information from INTERPOL about a man allegedly luring children over the internet to send intimate images. Following an investigation, officers executed a search warrant on Monday at a home in Grande Prairie, seizing several electronic devices and a firearm. Isaac Thomas Emson has been charged with possession of child pornography, luring a child, and possession of a firearm knowing its possession is unauthorized. He was remanded into custody after appearing before a justice of the peace and is scheduled to appear in court on Wednesday.Investigators believe there may be additional victims, including some who may have had in-person contact with Emson.
