‘HE’S NOT MAGA’: Trump disapproves of Poilievre, calls Freeland a ‘whack’

Trump has not only been watching Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and his Liberal cronies, including leadership candidate Chrystia Freeland, but the US president has also been keeping an eye on Conservative leader Pierre Poilievre — and he’s not liking what he’s seeing.

For anyone who thinks President Donald Trump doesn’t pay attention to what’s going on in Canadian politics — think again.

Trump has not only been watching Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and his Liberal cronies, including leadership candidate Chrystia Freeland, but the US president has also been keeping an eye on Conservative leader Pierre Poilievre — and he’s not liking what he’s seeing.

Trump has not only been watching Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and his Liberal cronies, including leadership candidate Chrystia Freeland, but the US president has also been keeping an eye on Conservative leader Pierre Poilievre — and he’s not liking what he’s seeing.

Trump in an in-depth interview with The Spectator on Friday was asked about Freeland’s remarks during the Liberal leadership debate Tuesday night when she threatened nuclear warfare with the United States.

“She said that there needs to be a nuclear alliance with other European nations, and Japan, against the United States, because you’re predatory,” said the reporter.

“She’s terrible. I’ll tell you what. I know her very well,” replied Trump.

“She’s absolutely terrible for the country.”

“She’s incompetent in many respects and can only cause ill will for Canada.”

Trump has not only been watching Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and his Liberal cronies, including leadership candidate Chrystia Freeland, but the US president has also been keeping an eye on Conservative leader Pierre Poilievre — and he’s not liking what he’s seeing.

Trump, who has been in the habit of calling the prime minister “governor” since November when he first suggest Canada should become the 51st state, said “Governor Trudeau understood that.”

“And he actually fired her because of a meeting he had with me. I said, ‘she is so bad. She’s bad for the country.’”

“She’s a whack.”

Trump was then asked about Canada’s Conservative party, who have been losing ground in the polls.

“I think his biggest problem is he’s not a MAGA guy,” said Trump.

“He’s really not a Trump guy at all.”

Trump said Poilievre “made a big mistake” by trying to act like a “tough guy.”

“They think they’re going to be the tough guy and they’re going to knock out Trump, and they end up getting the hell beat out of ’em,” said the president.

“I can’t tell you. Pierre, I just don’t know.”

“I don’t like what he’s saying about me. It’s just not positive about me.”

Poilievre came under fire by Freedom Convoy organizer Tamara Lich after he accused Trump of “wanting our jobs.”

Lich slammed Poilievre’s approach to Trump, and accused him of “sounding like the rest of them.”
