How & (sic) why so many allowed themselves to be deceived will take years to to (sic) uncover, but I and many other Canadians will not accept the deception any longer. We are free and will defend our freedom #onpoli#cdnpoli.”.Under health regulations, indoor social gatherings with anyone outside of your household are currently prohibited. There is an exception for a person who lives alone and visits a second household..In general, anyone who violates an emergency order could face a fine of $750..However, a person who violates an emergency order could also face a fine of up to $100,000 and a year in jail upon conviction in court..Hosts or organizers of parties in violation of gathering laws are liable for a minimum $10,000 fine..Corporations violating an emergency order could face a fine up to $10 million..Theoretically, Hillier could face the $750 fine for violating the emergency order, $100,000 plus a year in jail, and/or the $10,000 fine for hosting a party..So far Hillier has not been contacted by the OPP, but they say they are investigating..Hillier will appear in court January 7 on charges relating to a November anti-COVID-19 lockdown rally which he organized outside Queen’s Park in Toronto which exceeded the lawful outdoor gathering limit of ten persons..Ken Grafton is the Western Standards Ottawa Bureau Chief.
