Lethbridge police have charged two individuals with first-degree murder after a body was discovered in a southside motel room over the weekend.

Officers launched an investigation on December 28, after a body was found in a motel located on the 2200 block of 7 Ave. South.

Police have confirmed the death is being treated as a homicide.

Two suspects have been arrested and charged with first-degree murder, but their identities are not being disclosed at this time.
