Liberal MP Iqra Qalid (Mississaugu-Erin Mills), a lawyer, has created a firestorm on X over a post asking if a new Pierre Poilievre interview was funded by Russia.

Critics on X, many of whom responded with abuse, say Qalid was writing about the Jordan Peterson and Pierre Poilievre interview that was released on January 2.

The two spoke about economic issues, leadership, ideology, and immigration among other things.

"Did Russia fund a recent PP interview?" said Qalid on X. "I guess he will never know because he refuses to get his security clearance."

The insinuation the Peterson and Poilievre interview was funded by Russia may come from allegations made by Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.

During testimony at the foreign interference inquiry, Trudeau suggested that both Jordan Peterson and Tucker Carlson were being funded by Russia Today (RT), although he did not provide firm evidence.

"We’ve recently seen that RT is currently funding bloggers and other YouTube personalities at the right such as Jordan Peterson," said Trudeau in French.

Jordan Peterson denied the allegation, saying he never received funding from Russia. He is considering legal action against Trudeau for defamation.

"I am not working for the Russians, Mr. Trudeau — but you are," said Peterson.

Meanwhile, the Greater Toronto Area, which Qalid presides over in part, struggles with rampant and unabated Jew hatred carried about by "Intifada" shouting, terrorist flag waving, pro-Palestine Jihadis.
