Danielle Adams, a member of the Manitoba Legislative Assembly, was killed in a two-vehicle collision Thursday. .The 38-year-old mother of two was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident where her SUV collided with semi-trailer truck near Ponton, located about 550 km north of Winnipeg..The 54-year-old semi driver was not injured in the crash blamed on poor road conditions..A flood of condolences and expressions of grief from all political parties for the loss of the popular and respected first-term NDP MLA continue to pour in..“Danielle’s passing is heartbreaking on so many levels — she was a young, caring mother who wore her heart on her sleeve,” said NDP Leader Wab Kinew in a statement. .“She was a fierce advocate for her constituents in Thompson and always made northern Manitobans a priority.”.“Our movement and our team will miss her deeply.
