Friday at 11:30 am (CST)..READ MORE Candlelight vigil set for missing Saskatoon indigenous woman and son, as air search begins.A joint investigation between the Saskatoon Police Service (SPS) and the United States Department of Homeland Security (DHS) found the pair..Investigators discovered they had entered the United States illegally and tracked them to Oregon City, where a “cross-border law enforcement cooperation was utilized.”.The US DHS is considering if it will take any legal action against Dawn Walker before they return her to meet with investigators in Saskatoon..The SPS and US DHS are bringing Vincent Jansen back to a legal guardian in Canada..Walker and her son were last seen on Friday July 22 and friends heard nothing from her over the weekend..The pair were reported missing on Sunday July 24 and the SPS found Walker’s pickup truck by the South Saskatchewan River with her personal belongings still inside..An extensive search of the South Saskatchewan River and Chief Whitecap Park turned up nothing, with a Candlelight Vigil taking place at the park on Tuesday July 26..An update on the investigation will be provided on Monday morning..The SPS asks anyone with information regarding this investigation to contact the SPS at 306-975-8300, Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or your local law enforcement.
