It has been revealed that a Montreal man wanted for first-degree murder may have fled to the Lower Mainland.Anyone who sees 39-year-old Pierry Philogène has been asked to call the nearest police department.According to the Service de police de la Ville de Montréal, Philogène is wanted on a Canada-wide warrant. He is black with brown eyes and black hair, weighs 113.5 kg, and is 183 cm tall.Philogène is just one of many suspects sought or arrested following an investigation into organized crime in Quebec. Eleven people have been taken into custody, while five are still on the run.."Begun three years ago, the Alliance investigation project has just led, today, to one of the most significant police raids in recent decades," SPVM Deputy Director Marc Charbonneau wrote in a statement on June 12. "Among those arrested are alleged influential members of criminal organizations well-established in the Greater Montreal area and elsewhere in Quebec. Their indictment will certainly have a major impact and will destabilize the spheres of organized crime."The agency added that the suspects were "believed to be associated with traditional Italian organized crime, the Hells Angels, or criminal street gangs," and are alleged to have "participated in one or more murders or attempted murders, whether as an instigator, perpetrator or collaborator" between 2011 and 2021.
