Nadine Wellwood, Kelly Lorencz and Ann McCormick just finished a grueling federal election battle representing the People’s Party of Canada in three separate Alberta races..But instead of taking their running shoes off and putting their feet up, the trio will soon be hitting Alberta highways as the three PPC candidates in Alberta’s Senator-in-waiting election next month..And the trio expect PPC leader Maxime Bernier to travel with them on some stops as they campaign in Alberta.Lorencz was the PPC candidate for Red Deer-Mountainview and finished third, capturing 7,388 votes..“I am fighting for Alberta and to bring a common-sense voice to the Senate,” said Lorencz, who owns an acreage west of Innisfail, near the Dickson Dam..
