Police are asking the public for help after vandals caused up to $25,000 in damage at the Prince George Municipal Cemetery earlier this week.RCMP say the investigation began Monday morning, when cemetery staff discovered that around 20 headstones had been knocked over during the night.“There is no surveillance in the cemetery grounds to provide us with insight into who the suspect is or are,” said Cpl. Jennifer Cooper, media relations officer for the Prince George RCMP. “Investigators are asking that anyone who has information on who may have caused this damage to please come forward with the details.”Anyone with information is asked to contact Prince George RCMP at 250-561-3300 or leave an anonymous tip through Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or online at www.northernbccrimestoppers.ca.
