Police in Richmond have called on the public to help identify a suspect who allegedly robbed a woman at gunpoint in December.
He has been described as "an Asian male, small eyes, black hair roots with brown tips, approximately 5'6, wearing a dark jacket with hood up, a mask, dark pants, and a light-coloured backpack."
According to the Richmond RCMP, the incident took place on the evening of December 10 at a TD Bank ATM on the 5300 block of No. 3 Rd.
Shortly after 9:00 p.m., officers responded to a call from a woman who alleged that she had robbed at gunpoint while using the ATM. She explained that the suspect had "entered the vestibule, approached [her] from behind, pointed a gun at her, robbed her of $250, and fled."
"While our officers were on scene within minutes, the suspect had fled the area," Cpl. Sonny Virk lamented. "Our officers were able to locate CCTV footage of the suspect, and we are releasing these photos in an attempt to identify him."
