It has been revealed that the man arrested for allegedly sucker-punching a man in downtown Vancouver on November 28 has been charged in connection with two other random attacks that took place just days earlier.Zachary Tyrell Shettell, 30, is facing three separate counts of assault..UPDATED: VPD apprehends suspect in 'random and unprovoked' downtown attack .According to the Vancouver Police Department, the first attack took place on November 24 near the Art Gallery. In that case, Shettell allegedly assaulted a 35-year-old man. The following day, he allegedly assaulted a 29-year-old man near West Pender St. and Granville St. The attack that led to his capture took place on West Georgia St. at the bus stop outside The Bay. It was caught on security camera from multiple angles, and he was apprehended on December 3.Footage shared to X showed the victim, a man in a black and red jacket, jeans, and white shoes, walking southeast on West Georgia St. towards the bus stop. Out of nowhere, the plaid shirt and jeans-clad suspect lunged at him.After pushing him to the ground, the suspect simply ran off in the other direction as bystanders rushed to help.The VPD said they have no reason to believe "any of the victims knew the suspect or had any prior interaction with him before being assaulted."
