Richmond RCMP is asking the public for help in a sexual assault investigation involving a massage therapist in the city.Police say they received a report in August 2024 alleging a massage therapist sexually assaulted a client during treatment at a clinic located in the 8000 block of Alexandra Rd.On May 22, 2025, 52-year-old Jiajian Sun — also known as Dr. Ken — of Richmond, was charged with one count of sexual assault. .A warrant was issued for his arrest, and he was taken into custody on June 18. He has since been released with conditions, including that he must not be alone with any client during treatment unless another adult is present.“Allegations of sexual assault by someone in a position of professional trust are extremely concerning,” said Cpl. Melissa Lui, Media Relations Officer for the Richmond RCMP.“Although a charge has been laid, we are releasing a photo of Jiajian Sun as we believe there may be people with additional information that could assist in advancing the investigation, and we urge them to contact us.”.Police say their priority is to speak with anyone who has not yet come forward and to gather all available evidence.Anyone with information is asked to contact Richmond RCMP at 604-278-1212.
