The Moose Jaw Police Service (MJPS) arrested a man on child pornography charges after a “high-risk traffic stop within city limits.”. Police lights .The MJPS received a tip that a man planned to travel to Moose Jaw for the “purpose of committing sexual offences against a child” on January 13, according to the MJPS press release..The MJPS, Tactical Response Team, and the Criminal Investigation Section took part in the “surveillance and high-risk traffic stop in Moose Jaw.”.Also taking part in the investigation was the Ponteix RCMP..They charged David Clark with distributing and possessing child pornography, he remains in custody..The MJPS said it had evidence of Clark distributing child pornography before his arrest..While searching Clark’s vehicle, the police found illegal cigarettes and illegal cannabis..Clark is from Vanguard, which is a small community about 175 kilometres southwest of Moose Jaw in Saskatchewan..The MJPS is “asking for the public’s help in identifying potential victims of Clark in and around the Moose Jaw area.”.“If you or someone you know has been victimized, please contact the MJPS at 306-694-7600 or Crime Stoppers if you would like to remain anonymous,” said the release.
