Former children's services minister Rebecca Schulz is running for the Alberta UCP leadership.

Alberta United Conservative Party candidate Rebecca Schulz (Calgary-Shaw) said she's heard a number of concerns about the city cancelling fireworks for Canada Day. 

“This is a decision obviously made by the City of Calgary,” said Schulz at a Thursday press conference.
