NDP leader Jagmeet Singh is eating his own words when it comes to his refusal to get behind the Conservatives’ non-confidence motion against the Trudeau Liberals. Singh has been oscillating for months between condemning Liberal Prime Minister Justin Trudeau for not doing enough for Canadians, and supporting the Liberals to spurn Pierre Poilievre and his Conservative party. Singh is eligible for a parliamentary pension at the end of February. Many have accused the NDP leader of his hypocrisy in supporting a government he doesn’t believe in to secure his pension, including Canadian businessman and former Dragons Den panelist W. Brett Wilson. .UPDATED: W. Brett Wilson confirms he would follow through on Singh's 'Private Pension Program'.The Tories on Thursday morning put forward a non-confidence motion in the House of Commons that quotes Singh’s own words. Singh, however, as CTV reports, has said he’s not ready to vote…in favour of his own words of criticism against the prime minister. House of Commons Speaker Greg Fergus this week informed MPs that he'll pause the parliamentary gridlock so the non-confidence and other important votes can take place. The vote will be held Monday..Tories’ non-confidence vote quashed a second week in a row, Trudeau fails to appear. The Conservatives on Thursday said they plan to use all the opposition days granted by the Speaker to bring down the Liberal government. "Now that even the Liberal Speaker has ruled that Justin Trudeau must face opposition debate on nine years of his failures, common sense Conservatives will put forward three confidence motions that will be debated and voted on starting this week," said Conservative House Leader Andrew Scheer in a statement, per CTV. Singh meanwhile has said he will not use the opposition day granted to the NDP (Friday) to topple the Liberal government..BREAKING: Bloc, NDP vote against Conservatives' non-confidence motion; Poilievre, Trudeau exchange scatological insults
