After 12 stops across Alberta throughout July, the Alberta Christian Municipal Rally arrives in Grande Prairie Thursday night, continuing its mission of prayer, recruitment and civic mobilization at the local level. The event will take place at Victory Church in Grande Prairie. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., with the main event starting at 7:00 p.m. Free tickets are available at www.ChristianImpactNetwork.com.Speakers will include elected federal and provincial politicians, as well as local Christian candidates running in the October 2025 municipal election. The ACMR is an initiative organized by the Christian Impact Network, led by Executive Director Michael Clark, known as “Canada’s Political Missionary.” This group has organized a fellowship of Christian politicians across Alberta and across the country.Christian Impact Network has partnered with Leadership Institute in Washington, D.C., offering ACMR participants access to world-class political training. This collaboration ensures Christian candidates and campaign teams are equipped with both biblical conviction and practical tools to lead and win.“This rally is designed not only to inspire potential candidates and volunteers but also to equip them spiritually, practically, and strategically,” Clark said in a recent press release. “We successfully piloted this concept during the 2022 municipal election in Ontario, mobilizing 110 Christian candidates… We are expanded to Alberta because local candidates began registering with us a year before we even announced our involvement.”Each ACMR event features worship, prayer, Christian candidate introductions, and clear calls to action. The rally aims to support Christians interested in running for mayor, reeves, city/town council, or school board trustee, as well as those called to help behind the scenes as campaign managers, organizers, or intercessors. We invite every Christian in Grande Prairie to come and pray for and meet the local candidates.Clark noted that most Christian candidates lack practical campaign support. “Though it's not as glamorous, campaign managers are a major need across the country, and we challenge Christians to consider this role — either as a vocation or as a ministry.”If you would like the Alberta Christian Municipal Rally to stop in your church or your city, please email info@ChristianImpactNetwork.com.
