Sources told the Toronto Sun he was arrested in Hamilton, ON. .The Special Investigations Unit has invoked its mandate. .One person was shot, but Halton Region police did not say if it was before or after a carjacking outside the Tim Hortons location at Argentia Road and Winston Churchill Boulevard happened. .Peel Region police issued an emergency alert. Halton police confirmed it arrested the suspect. .The emergency alert, which has been cancelled, said one person was shot and another taken to hospital. The alert said the suspect was a white male with a beard wearing a construction vest and driving a dark-coloured vehicle. .It informed people the suspect was armed and dangerous.
