President Donald Trump’s administration has deployed military planes to deport illegal aliens in the United States, as per an executive order signed by the newly reinstated president this week.

White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt on Friday morning posted photos to social media showing hoards of people who entered the country illegally wearing handcuffs and boarding military aircrafts.

“Deportation flights have begun,” wrote Leavitt in the caption.

“President Trump is sending a strong and clear message to the entire world: if you illegally enter the United States of America, you will face severe consequences.”

Trump promised “severe consequences” for people who enter the US illegally. US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) said on Thursday night 538 illegal aliens were arrested, per The Hill.

Acting Department of Homeland Security Secretary Benjamine Huffman issued a directive that would give the Department of Justice and other deferral agencies “authority to investigate and apprehend illegal aliens.”

“Thanks to the last administration’s open border policies, we’ve seen violent criminals and gang members terrorize American communities,” wrote Huffman in the directive that was posted to Homeland Security’s website.

“Today’s action empowers law enforcement officials at the DOJ to help identify and apprehend aliens who have illegally come into our country. Mobilizing these law enforcement officials will help fulfill President Trump’s promise to the American people to carry out mass deportations.”

Fox News reported criminal history among the hundreds of illegals arrested by ICE include sexual assault, robbery, burglary, aggravated assault, drug and weapons offenses, resisting arrest and domestic violence.

They came illegally to the US from countries such as Afghanistan, Angola, Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Senegal and Venezuela, reported the outlet.

In addition to the deportation flights, Trump’s illegal immigration crackdown includes deploying more active duty US troops being ordered to the US-Mexico border, including elements of the military’s 82nd Airborne Division and the 10th Mountain Division, according to CNN.

Approximately 1,500 troops are to join the 2,200 already active at the border.
