Abbotsford police are investigating after an officer assaulted a man after the Offspring Rock Concert at the Abbotsford Centre on Saturday. .Abbotsford police officers were speaking with a person after the concert was let out when an unrelated individual, who became the subject of the video, began to interfere with the investigation, according to a Monday press release. The release said the man ignored police's instructions to disengage. .Abbotsford police advised him he was under arrest for obstruction. The man continued to be non-compliant during the arrest. . It said he was taken into custody and placed in handcuffs soon after. .Abbotsford police acknowledged a video of the arrest was posted to social media.
