Alberta United Conservative Party leadership candidate Leela Aheer assisted in rescuing a bull runner who was caught under a bull at Saturday's Strathmore Stampede. .The video shows the bull charging into the man, knocking him over. The bull pushes the man with his horns before he rolls underneath the animal. .Aheer can be seen hopping over the fence, attempting to grab the bull by the horns. She backs away from the animal and pushes it off of the man. . Bull attack .She helps the man up. They climb over the fence into the viewing area. .The crowd burst out cheering after Aheer and the bull runner escape. .Aheer said the man and the bull are doing fine. .“I think I was in shock for a bit after,” she said. .Alberta NDP Leader Rachel Notley said Aheer did great work. .“We all like to think we’d be the one to jump in … you were,” said Notley. .“Good on ya.”
