A Calgary religious figure, who has been at the forefront of anti-lockdown protests, had his Easter service interrupted by Calgary police and provincial health authorities..And to say Pastor Artur Pawlowski was furious at the interruption would be an understatement..A half dozen police, bylaw officers and Alberta Health Services officials visited a Good Friday service at The Cave of Adullam – which appears to be a residential home in a community..Pawlowski met the group at the top at the stairs and began screaming at them, all the while filming the confrontation..“Please get out. Please get out of this property immediately,” Pawlowski tells the group..“I don’t want to hear a word out of you. Out of this property until you come back with a warrant. Get out and don’t come back. I don’t want to talk to you. You Nazis, Gestapo is not allowed here.”.Pawlowski repeatedly yells over the spokeswoman for the group, who appears to be a AHS official..“Do you understand English? Get out of this property and do not come back. Nazis are not welcome here. Do not come back without a warrant… you Nazi psychopaths. Unbelievely evil, sick people, intimidating people at church on passover..“You Gestapo Nazi communist fascist.”.By this time the group has backed down and are last seen walking away down the street..Several other people follow Pawlowski out the front door, with cell phones in hand..Pawlowski has received numerous fines over the last several months but vows to continue is actions.. Screen-Shot-2021-04-04-at-12.21.45-PMPawlowski .Even the world famous TMZ site picked up the story Sunday..Also Sunday afternoon, the city issued a statement on the incident..“Yesterday, Saturday, April 3, 2021, one uniformed member of the Calgary Police Service attended a call to assist our partner agencies, Alberta Health Services and City of Calgary Bylaw services, in relation to a religious gathering being held at the Street Church located at 4315 26 Ave. S.E.,” said the stataement..“The concern was that the people in attendance were not adhering to the government’s COVID-19 public health orders, which are in place to ensure everyone’s safety..“In attending public spaces, private homes, and businesses, we continue to strive for voluntary compliance with public health orders where that makes sense. The majority of Calgarians are understanding and cooperative. However, CPS is often asked to attend these calls in an effort to help keep the peace due to high levels of conflict between citizens and health inspectors..“The organizer of the gathering was uncooperative with the health inspector, and repeatedly raised his voice asking all parties to leave the premises, which they did approximately one minute after entry and in a peaceful manner..“No tickets were issued at the time and it will be up to our partner agencies to determine subsequent enforcement activity in response to this situation..“We understand the pandemic has caused great disruption to all Calgarians in their professional and personal lives. We do not wish to disrupt anyone’s holidays or religious or spiritual events, however we must support our partner agencies when called upon to help ensure everyone can safely celebrate these occasions.”.Dave Naylor is the News Editor of the Western Standard.,dnaylor@westernstandardonline.com,.Twitter.com/nobby7694“
