Immigration Minister Marc Miller on a CBC broadcast Monday night said Prime Minister Justin Trudeau's abrupt resignation as Liberal leader reflects the "grind" within the party.
He further went on to insult the Opposition leader as a "greasy walrus," doubling down on comments he made on social media over the weekend.
"This is a party that needs to screw its head on straight, it needs to stiffen up, it needs to rally behind a leader" to fight Tory leader Pierre Poilievre.
"Over the weekend I called him a greasy walrus ... he was greasy as hell today."
Miller chalked his language up to "locker room talk," and said Poilievre has participated in worse name calling than that.
