Court proceedings for Gilbert Rozon's civil trial for assault resumed Friday morning, after being postponed Thursday afternoon when one of the plaintiffs, Danie Fernette, snapped at him outside the courtroom. Following the outburst, Fernette's husband, Stefano Corbo, allegedly threatened to strangle Rozon and grabbed him.Fernette is one of nine women accusing Rozon of sexual assault, claiming he raped her at a party on his property in the late 1980s.This incident occurred after Rozon denied the woman's allegations during his testimony..Rozon alleges that the woman's husband had grabbed his neck and later confirmed he had filed a complaint against Corbo. Initially, Fernette stood up in the courtroom, leading to her being escorted out after shouting: "What are you made of to lie like that? You're a liar! A f------ liar! You're an a------!"She continued outside the courtroom, yelling: "He's a liar! He's a liar! He tells lies!" The judge on the case escorted her out of the courthouse.The footage also appears to show Corbo allegedly gripping Rozon's neck. .The judge has since expelled Corbo, who will no longer be allowed to enter the courthouse while the case is ongoing.At the time of the plaintiffs alleged claims, Fernette was an employee for Just for Laughs.
