US Border Czar Tom Homan confirmed the FBI may be behind leaks notifying illegal aliens of ICE raids — and that culprits will be fired without pension and jailed.
One of President Donald Trump’s first executive orders was to round up people who are living in America illegally and deport them back to their home countries.
US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) have been conducting raids across the country, but illegal immigrants have been notified in advance, thereby obstructing ICE officials from doing their job.
Homan believes the leak of one ICE operation could be from the FBI, and says a criminal investigation is underway.
A Fox News host asked Homan during a Monday night broadcast “how certain” he is about indications the leak came from the FBI.
“Information is leading to that,” replied Homan.
“I'll let the Department of Justice do their own investigation, but again, I talked to the Deputy Attorney General this week, and they’ve opened a criminal investigation.”
“He thinks the information is coming from there also, so we'll let the investigation play out, but some of the leads point that way.”
