A 61-year-old woman has been charged after an assault on two boys running a lemonade stand in Windsor, Ontario.The incident occurred at around 9 p.m. local time on August 3 in Windsor's historic Walkerville precinct, a neighbourhood on the northern side of the city that borders Detroit.Windsor Police say that when they arrived, they found that a woman had approached a lemonade stand being operated by two young boys, an eight-year-old and a 13-year-old.It is unknown how the situation escalated, but the woman became agitated and allegedly began to assault the two boys.Police say that both boys sustained minor injuries, with one having been pushed by the woman and the other falling after the woman flipped his chair.Windsor Police arrested the woman at a home nearby to the stand, and she was charged with two counts of assault.Police ask that anyone with information about the incident contact the Windsor Police Service Major Crimes Unit at 519-255-6700, ext. 4830, or Windsor & Essex County Crime Stoppers by calling 519-258-8477 or online at www.catchcrooks.com.
