Rather than trying to paint Premier Danielle Smith as a conspiracy theorist for daring to call out the World Economic Forum’s (WEF) ties to Alberta Health Services, our legacy media outlets should be asking why the organization was involved in provincial agencies in the first place. We can’t expect that sort of critical thinking from our legacy media outlets these days though, can we?.There are some wild conspiracy theories out there involving the WEF. Practically every public figure on earth has been accused on social media of being a patsy for the WEF at one time or another. Even I have been accused of it occasionally on Twitter. I assure you I am not connected to them. Do you think I would be driving a Hyundai if I was? .There are conspiracy theories tying the WEF to everything from mind control efforts to sneaking microchips into unsuspecting vaccine recipients. The WEF has become something of a catch-all for theories about conspiracies leading to one world governance. The white noise of fringe conspiracy theorists has allowed the WEF and its odious agenda to slide under the radar. What the WEF wants to do is right out in the open. There is no need to concoct theories about their agenda or how they are pursuing it..The WEF’s prime mandate has been to bring about what they call “The Great Reset”. The WEF wants to take advantage of the crisis brought about by the pandemic to “reset” the world’s economic system and impose socialism under a central government. This is no conspiracy. Just go to their website, they have it right there, front and centre. This notion could be dismissed as being just an aspiration of some think-tank if we didn’t hear world leaders including Justin Trudeau parroting it. That makes their agenda something to take seriously..The WEF put out a notorious video telling us “you will own nothing and you will be happy.” The group also celebrated the empty roads caused by the lockdowns and implied it was a good thing..Klaus Schwab is the founder of the elite group and he makes no bones about his intention to foster a form of global governance with a socialist basis. His annual gatherings in Switzerland bring world political and business leaders together and Schwab loves to brag about how he has penetrated world governments including Canada’s. In a video, Schwab said, “I was at a reception for Prime Minister Trudeau and I know that half of his cabinet, or even more than half of his cabinet, are actually Young Global Leaders,” He was referring to the WEF “Young Global Leaders” program and implying most of the Canadian cabinet was part of it. How is this supposed to be taken lightly or dismissed?.Let’s assume that the WEF doesn’t really have the kind of influence it claims it does. Schwab is certainly something of a blowhard. What if it really is just a group rich and influential folks who like to and meet every year and talk big but don’t really influence governments much? I guess in that case we could ignore them but now we are seeing solid evidence that the group is active and is getting directly involved with local governments. .How did the WEF end up tied to Alberta’s healthcare system?.The WEF is not a world medical organization, they are an activist group. There are dozens of qualified organizations that could take an advisory role with local health systems, but the WEF isn’t one of them. Why were they chosen to partner with Alberta at any level and by who? What was the intent?.AHS can’t even manage to get ambulances to dying citizens on time. They have more pressing things to do with their time than to spend time and money on coalitions with the WEF..Even if the WEF coalition had no impact on Alberta’s health system, there is no reason they should be connected to it in any way. It is a very questionable organization with motivations that can't be trusted..Premier Danielle Smith correctly tossed the WEF coalition out of AHS and called them out. For doing that, our legacy media and socialist activists have been trying to paint Smith as a crazed conspiracy theorist. Thankfully she is ignoring them and standing firm..I don’t think the WEF is as influential as some people believe it is, but when the organization has its tendrils into a provincial health care system, it has to be assumed their reach is pretty wide..There are questions to be asked in this debacle but the establishment media in Alberta is asking all the wrong ones. They should put down their partisan swords for a minute and ask why, how and when the WEF became associated with Alberta Health Services. Journalists of old would never have let this go.
