The Trudeau “Bouncy Castle Emergency Order” has been recognized around the world as a despicable and egregious violation of human rights. In fact, Trudeau’s image has been so tarnished internationally that on March 7 he had to be sneaked into 10 Downing Street through the servants’ entrance due to dozens of protesters at the front door, chanting a slogan that has been banned in Canada from flags and protest signs on Ottawa’s Parliament Hill..Following the Declaration of the Public Order “Bouncy Castle Emergency” Justin Trudeau, NDP leader Jagmeet Singh, and numerous Liberal and NDP Members of Parliament went out of their way to reassure “Indigenous Protesters” and “Environmental Activists” that the Emergency Order would never apply to them or their bank accounts. In fact, the Emergency Declaration expressly permitted, at Paragraph 2(2), “registered Indians” “under the Indian Act” and other special classes of “foreign nationals” to enter Canada for the purpose of:.The serious disruption of the movement of persons or goods or the serious interference with trade; The interference with the functioning of critical infrastructure; orThe support of the threat or use of acts of serious violence against persons or property..In an act of outrageous insensitivity, when Trudeau proclaimed these provisions of the Emergency Order in aid of eco-terrorism, he completely ignored the issue of how Metis and Inuit people must feel at not having been recognized as having a special right to enter Canada for the purpose of committing acts of “serious violence” or “interference with the functioning of critical infrastructure.”.Shortly after midnight on February 17, and following reassurances from Trudeau and Jagmeet Singh that the Emergency Order would not apply to “Indigenous Protesters” and “Environmental Activists” an armed group of paramilitary, eco-terrorists attacked the Coastal GasLink construction facility between Houston, B.C., and Kitimat, B.C. The CGL GasLink is a democratically and regulatory approved multi billion-dollar infrastructure project that will provide hundreds of millions of dollars in revenue to First Nations in British Columbia..The video footage released by RCMP shows a well-disciplined, well-trained group of para-military operators, dressed in identical winter warfare camouflage uniforms. The publicly released information to date indicates the group was well trained and had done significant reconnaissance of the site. They knew what equipment to bring to breach the locked gates, knew where the keys were to start the excavators required to destroy the site and the other equipment, had at least one if not several trained heavy equipment operators capable of running large excavators to destroy the site and associated equipment. The training included knowing what fuel and hydraulic lines to cut on the excavators to ensure that they could not easily be put back on their tracks and used for clean up..In keeping with the military nature of the attack, a separate attack group constructed an “abattis” straight out of the Canadian Armed Forces Combat Engineer Field Manual, 22-km from the site of the main attack at the 41-km Mark of the Marten Forest Service Road. This obstacle was clearly designed to prevent the RCMP from responding to the main attack site in order to give the attacking force time to escape and effect their extraction from the area. The blocking force used “spiked boards” as booby traps to injure attending police and an ambush force attacked the police using “smoke bombs” and “fire lit sticks” injuring one of the responding officers. A further roadblock was established at the 43-km mark using an abandoned school bus..The attack at the CGL Site included lighting a vehicle on fire while workers remained in the vehicle. The criminal charges will accordingly include attempted murder and assault with a weapon causing bodily harm..Retired Joint Task Force 2 operators consulted by the writer agree with my conclusion the attackers represent a paramilitary force of eco-terrorists comprising at least 60-80 members. This conclusion is based on the strength of the reconnaissance element of the force, the degree of training exhibited, the sophistication of the planning, the demonstration of strong command and control elements, as well as the ability to logistically support two separate attacking forces and ensure their extraction without any hindrance by police. JTF2 is specifically tasked with rapid response to terrorist attacks on critical infrastructure. JTF2 has a C-130 Hercules on standby with the capability of responding to an attack on critical infrastructure on short notice to move. The fact that JTF2 was not dispatched demonstrates the degree to which Prime Minister Trudeau may in fact support these terrorists. At the very least Trudeau needs to be held accountable for the underwhelming nature of the response..Serious questions need to be answered with regard to the terrorist attack upon that CGL site..Rather than dispatching thousands of police officers to deal with bouncy castles and hot tubs, while the Declaration of Public Order Emergency was in effect why wasn’t JTF2 or at the very least, an element of the Princess Patricia Light Infantry dispatched to British Columbia to either consult with police or engage in the apprehension of these violent, extremist, terrorists?.Is the lack of information or public acknowledgment of this attack by Canada’s Prime Minister simply an overt message from the PMO that the Prime Minister and his minions support this type of attack?.It seems more than odd that Prime Minister Trudeau and Minister Freeland have the ability to trace $50 from a single mother’s bank account in Chilliwack, but have no idea whose bank accounts are supporting a Company Level Para-Military Terrorist Attack on a multi billion-dollar infrastructure project in British Columbia..Maybe Prime Minister Trudeau and Minister Freeland should phone their friends George Soros, Klaus Schwab, or the TIDES Foundation. They might be able to point them in the right direction..Guest columnist Jeffrey Rath is a constitutional lawyer representing citizens of Alberta
