It was left up to the cackling, inept Vice-President Kamala Harris to cast the deciding vote when it was evenly split on critical issues..It’s too close to call a winner in the Senate seats in Nevada and Arizona..Results from Arizona — where 20% of the vote-counting machines in the critical, densely populated Maricopa County temporarily went down — aren’t expected until Friday..The Georgia race is headed to a runoff in a December 6 election since neither candidate received the required 50% of the vote. Republican Herschel Walker sits at 48.7%, while Democrat incumbent Raphael Warnock received 49.2%.The pundits predicted the Republicans would win 236 or more congressional seats, and possibly end up with 53 or 54 Senate seats. Maybe not a thorough sweep — but enough of a clobbering to cause a red wave..The polls said Americans were fed up with soaring inflation at a 40-year high, skyrocketing gas prices, taxation, gutted 401(k)’s, and an energy industry under siege by green energy fanatics getting filthy rich on false promises..The polls said Americans were angry about an open southern border controlled by the heavily-armed Mexican cartels earning billions of dollars bringing in almost five million illegals — including children trafficked into the sex trade and dozens of terrorists (those that were caught) — since former president Donald Trump left office two years ago. He had that border almost sealed..The polls said Americans had enough of meth, heroin, and the fentanyl alone responsible for more than 100,000 deaths since February 2021, pouring across that open border..The polls said Americans wanted to hold the Democrats to account for trillions of dollars in reckless spending..Americans are at their wits end being terrorized by rapists, thieves, murderers, random brutal attacks in violent, bullet-riddled streets and subways of many major Democrat-run cities. Thanks to no-bail release policies, criminals aren’t punished, and seldom ever held in jail thanks to the left’s penchant for being soft on them. Americans wouldn’t take it anymore. So said the polls..So much for the polls..All the above are the results of Democrat Party decisions and policies that have wounded America deeply..Yet no red wave..Republican candidates hit the Democrats hard by campaigning on issues Americans said mattered to them..Many Democrats were braced to suffer serious losses across the board — in governor, congressional, and senate races. Knives were being sharpened to go after President Joe Biden — even by those hypocrites who cast votes supporting his failed policies up to 100% of the time..They could dismiss losses as a referendum on the doddering fool who focused on trying to demonize Republicans during the campaign..The Democrats, who couldn’t campaign on their pathetic record, were mocked by Republicans for staying fixated on abortion. They focused on a woman’s right to kill children in the womb lamenting the Supreme Court striking down Roe v Wade. Meanwhile, the detestable NBC anchor Michael Beschloss babbled if Republicans regained power children would be “arrested and killed.” Oh, the irony..Things looked bright early on when results trickled out of Florida. Governor Ron DeSantis won his second term with a stunning 19-point lead. Florida Senator Marco Rubio won his 3rd term with double digits..Other than the seismic shift in hard-core blue counties — Miami-Dade and Palm Beach — to red, not much of a shocker. Americans fled COVID locked down states to live in the law-and-order, no crippling taxation state..The biggest, most baffling shock is the victory of state lieutenant governor John Fetterman, the hoodie and jean Lurch-like guy, who defeated celebrity doctor Mehmet Oz to win Pennsylvania’s Senate seat..Oz campaigned on law and order, the economy, inflation, safe communities, and dealing with the state’s fentanyl crisis leading to overdose deaths..Fetterman, who recently suffered a stroke, has had a hard time putting sentences together. But that’s not the issue. He sponged off his wealthy parents until he was 50. But that’s not the issue..As mayor of small-town Braddock for 13 years, he hardly showed up for work. But Fetterman never missed a parole hearing where he could vote to let out hardened criminals against the objection of fellow board members..He supports heroin-injection sites, advocates releasing one-third of the state’s prison population, and didn’t support fracking in the energy-rich state — until it recently hurt him in the polls. Then he changed his mind..This is the guy Pennsylvanians chose to represent them in the Senate. Chilling.
