Oh dear, huge strife is rocking Liberal paradise. And the fight keeps getting worse. But the worse it gets, the more they take deliciously gratifying swings against each other, the more Canadians benefit. For an agonizingly long time comrades Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and Deputy PM and Finance Minister Chrystia Freeland stood as one. It has been socialist ideology-driven, money-squandering-them, standing strong against increasingly impoverished us.But, like the Righteous Brothers soulfully sang, the love is “gone, gone, gone.” And there’s no bringing back that loving feeling.Irreconcilable differences led to Freeland resigning from Cabinet Monday — and levelling an accusatory finger at Trudeau for her departure. She penned a Dear John letter with subtle tones of victimhood and couldn’t resist pointing out how her noble intentions of late have gone so unappreciated.“Dear Prime Minister, On Friday, you told me you no longer want me to serve as your Finance Minister and offered me another position in the Cabinet.”“Upon reflection, I have concluded that the only honest and viable path is for me to resign from the Cabinet.”An effective minister must have the “full confidence” of the PM.“In making your decision, you made clear that I no longer credibly enjoy that confidence and possess the authority that come with it.”“For the past number of weeks, you and I have found ourselves at odds about the best path forward for Canada.”Freeland pointed to president-elect Donald Trump’s incoming administration “pursuing a policy of aggressive economic nationalism” including the threat of 25% tariffs.Imagine the audacity of Trump protecting economic nationalism! “It is this conviction which has driven my strenuous efforts this fall to manage our spending in ways that will give us the flexibility we will need to meet the serious challenges presented by the United States.”Trudeau, who is barely treading water and facing a rude eviction notice, has been accused of throwing another female politician under the bus to save his own hide. However, shockingly, he did the right thing for once. Albeit, for the wrong reasons. To say Freeland did not serve Canadians well as finance minister is a grotesque understatement. She should have been given the boot a long time ago.Freeland once said: “As income inequality increases, the social and political sway of those at the very, very top grows, too. They are nearly all men, and men whose lived experience tells them that women, for whatever reason, just don't have what it takes.”She proved she didn’t have what it takes. She’s no victim.Under her watch, the national debt ballooned to $1.24 trillion. It grows $52,701 per minute, $3.1 million per hour, and $75.9 million per day. The average share per Canadian is almost $30,000, according to the Canadian Taxpayers Federation National Debt Clock. What’s there to show for it as the struggle of Canadians steadily worsened?Freeland, who has long despised Russians and Russian President Vladimir Putin, generously supported her pet causes with our money — like $20 billion to Ukraine. The only wailing about her departure will be heard from the palatial dacha of Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskyy over the possibility of unaccounted for Canadian taxpayer funds drying up.Freeland criticized Trudeau’s “costly political gimmicks” including a GST/HST temporary reprieve on some goods. She allegedly opposed the $250 handouts he dangled in front of Canadians that would add $3 billion to the $62 billion deficit.Too little, too late Freeland. The petulant Trudeau has a well-earned reputation for lashing out at those who oppose him, primarily women. But did Trudeau also push her out of the way because he’s been courting another? He is believed to want to usher economist, and former banker Mark Carney for the finance role.Carney certainly wouldn’t be a liability to the globalist masters both Trudeau and Freeland serve. But did their brawl spilling out in the streets cause them to be liabilities to their revered WEF?The Trudeau/Freeland falling out comes on the heels of high-profile ministers abandoning ship when all signs point to the Liberals being unable to fend off near extermination in next year’s federal election.Sean Fraser announced Monday he won’t be seeking re-election. No loss. The only thing worse than his record as housing, infrastructure and communities minister was his record as refugees, immigration, and citizenship minister. Fraser’s increased immigration targets started the ball rolling that has led to mushrooming stress on taxpayers.Various other cabinet ministers aren’t seeking re-election. Chief 2-Spirits White Powder — aka Randy Boissonnault — resigned last month amidst accusations of lies and corruption.Freeland was scheduled to present the Fall Economic Update and annual financial reports Monday.By late afternoon Trudeau still hadn’t surfaced.“Canadians are already worried about the $40 billion represented by the deficit. We're about to learn that the deficit was, in fact, much higher,” Opposition Leader Pierre Poilievre told a press conference. In fact it was tabled without comment and as Poilievre predicted, the deficit for the year was indeed nearly $62 billion.NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh, always full of hot air but offering little substance and backing down when it was time to hold Trudeau accountable, called for Trudeau to resign. Whatever.CTV News reported Trudeau is considering resigning or proroguing Parliament — a sly move that could prevent his government from falling.Would that narcissistic massive ego permit him to for once serve Canadians well and give it up? Retired Lt.-Gen. Andrew Leslie, a former member of Trudeau’s caucus, chimed in on X.“It’s possible that both the current PM and former finance minister may soon be unemployed, despite their skills in political knife fighting. I hear the Canadian Armed Forces are recruiting,” said Leslie who has criticized the economic neglect of the military. As the debt spun out of control. This is one knife fight where there’s just no winner to root for.But it’s sweet to watch those arrogant, condescending, failing Liberals turn on each other and self-destruct.
