With the announcement of a “complete and total” ceasefire agreement between Israel and Iran, US President Donald J. Trump earlier this week declared an “official end,” to a 12-day war of relentless bombing.Within a couple of hours an angry Trump dropped the F-bomb when he blasted both Israel and Iran for violating the terms he had just announced. He demanded that the Israel Defence Forces (IDF) recall its warplanes. In a message posted on Truth Social Trump wrote, “ISRAEL. DO NOT DROP THOSE BOMBS. IF YOU DO IT IS A MAJOR VIOLATION. BRING YOUR PILOTS HOME, NOW!”“Nobody will be hurt, the ceasefire is in effect. Thank you for your attention to this matter,” said Trump.Israel complied. Iran denied. Both, according to Trump, didn’t accept that the war is over and continued with bombing campaigns… until Trump roared. Both are scared of the world’s toughest ‘cop’ who demands peace..In Canada however, there are forces who also refuse to accept that the war is over. Operation Rising Lion was intended to destroy Iran's nuclear capabilities and appears to have been successful. But these forces in Canada hunger for revenge and provoke unrest. Sadly, and unlike the Iranians, they essentially have no one to frighten them into behaving. This would include those protesters who itch for any excuse to wrap tablecloths around their heads and create chaos in the streets, waving foreign flags and burning ours, terrorizing Jews and now Persians who escaped and oppose the Iranian regime’s diabolical oppression..Vancouver PD ramping up presence amid tensions in Middle East.Sure enough, the Palestinian Youth Movement organized a protest Sunday at the U.S. consulate in Toronto last Sunday. Other protests in Canada eat into stretched police resources..But how about those in positions of authority who provoke hate-driven protests that don’t belong on Canadian soil? They issue explicit statements riddled with half-truths or implicit signals, and neglect to advocate for calm.Toronto-based Imam Sayyid Muhammad Rizvi in a June 13 khutba (sermon) at the Jaffari Community Centre lamented Israel’s “unprovoked” attack, called for prayers for the “martyrs” and advised retaliation via invoking “fear” in enemies of radical Islamists. Those enemies to frighten presumably include Canadians. Those martyrs would be Hamas terrorists and generals in Iran’s blood-thirsty, brutal Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC,) that Canada has declared a terrorist entity. The IRGC answers directly to Iran’s brutal and unhinged Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei..When Iran ignored the deadline Trump imposed, he dealt a decisive blow. The June 21 US airstrikes and missile barrages from naval ships crippled Iran’s Fordow, Natanz and Isfahan nuclear facilities. The IDF crippled Iran’s air defences and ballistic missile program.“He held negotiations, did everything he could … and the Iranians spit in his face,” said Jim Hanson, former Special Forces operator and director with Middle East Forum.Hanson concluded that Iran inflicted the attack upon itself, in a broadcast that also emphasized the risk of Iran finding “soft targets” to attack..Never mind Iran’s go-to thugs, identified in Canada yet able to roam freely. There are enough useful idiots willing to jump in and cause chaos, because they buy the lies fed to them that aggressors are victims.Trump averted a nuclear arms race in the Arab world that both fears and detests the Iranian regime. He averted the risk of small nukes being slipped into the hands of proxies to be detonated on Israeli and US soil.Khamenei has terrorized, tortured, executed and oppressed the lovely and decent Persian people since 1989. With a ceasefire declared, this monster who directed and funded Hezbollah, Hamas and Houthis proxy wars, could finally slither out of his bunker. Khamenei, behind endless Middle East conflicts, is no longer a force to be reckoned with. He’s just a pathetic, humiliated, weak old man nearing the end of his days who, thanks to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Trump likely won’t see his dream of nuking the “Big Satan” America and the “Little Satan” Israel come to fruition..But the hate he has preached and funded that spread like a cancer beyond the Middle East lives thrives in Canada. These are ungrateful people too blinded or stupid to realize that nuclear fallout from a bomb, just like terrorists, has no respect for borders. Guess who lives next door to the “Big Satan?”When all hell broke loose, Conservative Party leader Pierre Poilievre pointed out that “allowing the genocidal regime in Iran to get a nuclear weapon would have been reckless.” He defended the US and Israeli military attack on Iran’s nuclear facilities as “100% justified” and didn’t forget to mention the impact on people in Iran and Canadians.“Hopefully, the brave Iranian people will rise up and put an end to this appalling regime so the people can live in freedom and the world can live in peace,” he said.Poilievre urged the Liberal government to take measures to protect Canadians overseas and at home, to stop “intimidation and foreign interference by the Iranian regime targeting Canada's Jewish and Persian communities.” Prime Minister Mark Carney called Iran’s nuclear program a grave threat to international security and repeated Canada’s stand that Iran can’t be allowed to develop a nuclear weapon.“Canada calls on parties to return immediately to the negotiating table and reach a diplomatic solution to end this crisis,” he posted on X..But no, Carney didn’t appeal for calm in Canada. Maybe he hasn’t been in the country long enough to understand how Canadians have been pushed around by rabid little protester punks. But Rizvi, director of Toronto’s Islamic Education & Information Center, has.Perhaps other imams called for calm and expressed sympathy and support for the Iranian people. Rizvi didn’t. In fact, he didn’t even mention the Iranian people during his June 13 Stand Against Tyranny khutba.WATCH: Stand Against Tyranny - RizviPerhaps he hadn’t heard that Iranians were being arrested for social media posts. Or that executions of political opponents were underway. But he opened with prayer and the “shocking” news of Israel’s “unprovoked” attack on Iran targeting officials and scientists.Of course, he criticized Trump for warning that he would give Iran 60 days, then dropping the bombs on the Day 61.“Certain Iranian hardliners spoke bravely, but they didn’t know what was about to happen. They’re all dead now and it will get only worse,” said Rizvi.“All this shows a very bleak state, you know, of the Muslim world. It's not that Allah has not given us numbers … you know there are many, many children.”“It’s not that Allah has deprived Muslims of national resources. You know, there’s quite a lot of that in the Muslim hands. So, wealth is not a problem, number is not a problem. Yet they are weak. They are so weak that in spite of having the wealth and everything, they still kneel down in front of the tyrants, you know, offering very lavish, you know rewards and gifts.”.It’s what he says next that’s alarming.“And this is where we go back to the basics. You know, Allah SWT, in Surah Anfal, which actually is a surah which talks about certain issues regarding what we call Al-Jihad Al Asghere.”He cited the Quoran verse 8:60: "And prepare against them what force you can and horses tied at the frontier, to frighten thereby the enemy of Allah and your enemy and others besides them who you do not know, Allah knows them; and whatever thing you spend in Allah’s way, it will be paid back to you fully and you will not be dealt with unjustly. O Muslims, prepare against them, referring to the enemies, whatever military force you can.”“To do what?” asked Rizvi. “To, you know, go for conquest, no. Very clearly, to frighten, thereby, Allah’s enemy, your enemy, and others besides them who you do not know.”“So, the issue is not, you know, be strong for the sake of committing aggression, whether it is, you know, a conquest or other things. Allah SWT says be strong so that the enemies do not dare, you know, attack you.”Who in Canada does he support frightening? And how? What does he advocate great numbers of “many, many children” do? More protests? More shattered glass? More intimidation of Jews and Persians and Canadian infidels? Is he backing the tactics of Khamenei and the IRGC?Impressionable minds can construe Rizvi’s message in ways that aren’t good for the well-being of Canadians. It’s a thinly veiled green light to bully and frighten under the guise of superior morality. Hypocrite! So much for the message of peace.
