Saskatchewan RCMP say a manhunt that rattled Muskowekwan First Nation has ended with the arrest of a 28-year-old suspect. Officers issued a dangerous person alert early Thursday morning after an RCMP officer was shot while responding to a gun call about 145 kilometres northeast of Regina.Investigators allege Elijah Albert fired a rifle, then fled into thick bush, prompting police to warn residents to stay indoors and avoid hitchhikers. RCMP officers arrested Albert without further violence. The wounded officer remains in hospital. Police report charges pending.
