Saskatchewan RCMP say a manhunt that rattled Muskowekwan First Nation has ended with the arrest of a 28-year-old suspect. Officers issued a dangerous person alert early Thursday morning after an RCMP officer was shot while responding to a gun call about 145 kilometres northeast of Regina.Investigators allege Elijah Albert fired a rifle, then fled into thick bush, prompting police to warn residents to stay indoors and avoid hitchhikers. RCMP officers arrested Albert without further violence. The wounded officer remains in hospital.
