A 24-year-old Regina man is facing several child exploitation charges following an investigation by the Saskatchewan Internet Child Exploitation (ICE) Unit.The investigation began in February 2025 and led officers to execute a search warrant at a home in Regina on May 27. Investigators seized electronic devices from the residence and examined them for evidence.As a result, Sandeep Kumar was charged with possession of child pornography, making available child pornography, and accessing child pornography.He appeared in Regina Provincial Court on May 28 and was released under several conditions. His next court appearance is scheduled for June 11 at 9:30 am.The Saskatchewan ICE Unit includes members from the RCMP, Regina Police Service, Saskatoon Police Service, and Prince Albert Police Service. The unit focuses on investigating crimes involving the online abuse and exploitation of children.
