Two men are facing drug trafficking charges following a two-month investigation by the Saskatoon Police Service (SPS) Drug Unit.Hailu Tekheste, 23, and Dak Guandong, 20, were arrested on April 16 after police conducted a traffic stop in the 100 block of Willis Crescent. The arrests marked the conclusion of an ongoing investigation into suspected drug activity in the city.Following the stop, officers executed search warrants at two residences — one in the 200 block of Willis Crescent and another in the 200 block of Barrett Street.Police seized 140 grams of cocaine, 307 dilaudid pills, and 116 percocet pills, along with $1,715 in cash. Officers also recovered multiple cellphones and various items typically associated with drug trafficking.As a result of the investigation, both men have been charged with multiple drug trafficking-related offences.
