Premier Danielle Smith joins Derek Fildebrandt to discuss the fallout from Alberta’s referendum and what comes next for the UCP. Smith says the party must respect the result of Question 10 and focus on the issues Albertans have given her a mandate to pursue, including immigration and equalization.
She also addresses the 25% who backed independence, the future of an Alberta pension plan and police force, and whether Ottawa is now more open to giving Alberta greater control.
