For those who failed high school English, A homophone “is a word that has the same pronunciation as another word but a different meaning and sometimes a different spelling,” according to Vocabulary.com.
Musk used his parody account to lambaste USAID for offering taxpayer-funded circumcisions around the world and offered to them for 50% off.
That in turn forced tongue-tied news anchors on CNN and MSNBC to speak his new name online.
On online follower — and apparently biggest fan — ‘BiggusDickus’ called it a ‘God Tier’ level of trolling to be able to force them to say it in a straight face.
It also recalls a Monty Python sketch of a certain era, which marked its 45th anniversary last month. No word if BD is old enough to remember or whether it’s merely coincidence.
