An USD$81-million F-35 fighter fell out of the sky Tuesday afternoon, slamming into the ground at Eielson Air Force Base in Fairbanks, Alaska.
In dramatic video, the pilot can be seen safely parachuting to the ground.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
