Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky was kicked out of the White House Friday after President Donald Trump and VP JD Vance gave him a serious attitude adjustment in front of American media.
Zelensky visiting the Oval Office to discuss the Russia-Ukraine war with the president was resisting a ceasefire deal that would bring an end to a war that was decimating his own people.
But shortly after a tense Oval Office meeting Zelensky was booted out of the White House.
CBS reported the Ukrainian delegation retreated into a nearby room, where they were then told they had to leave the White House by Secretary of State Marco Rubio and National Security Advisor Mike Waltz.
Trump issued a statement.
"I have determined that President Zelensky is not ready for peace if America is involved, because he feels our involvement gives him a big advantage in negotiations," wrote Trump.
"I don’t want advantage, I want PEACE. He disrespected the United States of America in its cherished Oval Office. He can come back when he is ready for peace.”
While there, Zelensky rambled on disrespectfully about American presidents since 2014 being unable to defend the Ukraine since Russia’s attempt to annex Crimea in 2014 and accused Trump and Vance of not going to Ukraine on one of his propaganda tours.
Trump accused him of being petulant for turning his nose up at the notion of the US making a ceasefire deal with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
"Your country is in big trouble,” Trump candidly told Zelensky in front of reporters.
“I know you're not winning. You're not winning this.”
Zelensky inaccurately complained Ukraine has “been alone from the beginning of the war.”
"You haven't been alone,” retorted Trump.
“We gave you, through our stupid president [Joe Biden], $350 billion. We gave you military equipment. Your men are brave but they had to use our military.”
“If you didn't have our military equipment, this war would have been over in two weeks."
“It's going to be a very hard thing to do business like this,” remarked Trump a few minutes later, referring to Zelensky's attitude as the Ukraine president outed in the chair beside him with his arms crossed.
“Have you even said thank you?” asked Vance.
"Accept that there are disagreements, and let's go litigate those disagreements rather than trying to fight it out in the American media when you're wrong."
“You got to be more thankful because let me tell you, you don't have the cards. With us, you have the cards — but without us you don't have any cards,” added Trump.
After he left the White House, Zelensky tweeted his thanks to the American people.
